VM16 Venting membranes for headlamps

These new adhesive venting membranes represent a real game changer in the automotive headlamps ventilation. 

This two-layer VM16 membrane (ePTFE and polyamide) features a new design with the SIDE PROTECT technology (patent pending).

Technical features

Unlike equivalent membranes on the market, VM16 venting membranes reduce ePTFE consumption by 96% for the same performance and the same ventilation surface area.
VM16 membranes therefore not only help to optimise and reduce costs, but also massively reduce the use of PFAS. 

  • 200 Bar Kärcher® test : 

Thanks to Side Protect technology, the VM16 membrane offers excellent resistance to very high-pressure spraying (200 bar). 

  • Mechanical resistance :

Thanks to its two-layer composition, the VM16 venting membrane combines both ventilation performance and mechanical resistance (up to >40N).
