Our medical breathable PU films
Our high quality medical grade polyurethane films have the following features:
- Very breathable PU films: very high permeability to water vapor (high MVTR films)
- Barrier and watertight to shield wounds from the external environment
- Mat appearance and mechanical performance within market expectations
Polyurethane film – paper carrier
The paper carrier allows for direct coating of adhesive (acrylic, hydrocolloid or silicone) onto the medical PU film. It can be easily removed during the converting/cutting stage.

Polyurethane film – high temperature filmic carrier
The transparent filmic carrier allows to see through the product and thus facilitates the positioning of the finished product, by the medical staff.
The filmic carrier is resistant to high temperatures, allowing direct coating onto the film.

Differential double sided polyester film
Suitable for the fixation of surgical drapes or medical devices requiring a good adhesion on all types of materials including low surface tension materials on the open side and attachment to the skin on the closed side.

As a manufacturer of silicone dressings, GERGONNE offers a range of materials coated with silicone gel for pain-free removal.
Depending on usage criteria and customer applications, we supply:

Double sided polyurethane film
Our double sided PU film are designed for manufacturing of medical devices and
particularly for the assembly of multilayer products, such as wound dressings.
Pain free and atraumatic removal.
Conformable and repositionable products.
The M029 reference is perforated, giving it breathable properties and allowing exudates to pass through.
